History & Overview
The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden was established in 2007 with the aim of promoting tourism and floriculture in Kashmir. Located at the foothills of the Zabarwan Range and overlooking Dal Lake, the garden covers a vast area and blooms every spring with millions of tulips in different colors and varieties. Since its opening, the garden has become one of the most visited attractions in Kashmir. The annual Tulip Festival attracts visitors from across India and around the world. Apart from tulips, the garden also features other seasonal flowers that add to its beauty. The combination of colorful flower beds, mountain views and the nearby Dal Lake creates a truly unforgettable experience for visitors.
